Jammu, Nov 4: Farooq Muztar an eminent educationist, litterateur and philanthropist from Rajouri has been conferred upon 8th MD Banday Memorial Award in an impressive function at MET Thanamandi. The award has been instituted in the name of Late Mohammad Din Banday a socio-political stalwart of Poonch who lived his whole life for the welfare of the people and contributed to the overall development of the region selflessly for years together.
Muztar was nominated by MD Banday Memorial Society and the award which included a trophy, citation and shawl was presented by MET, Thanamandi on its 39th annual Day amidst a massive gathering of academicians, Social activist, litterateurs , Senior officers from civil and Police administration, prominent members of civil society, teachers and students. |
