Jammu, Nov 4: An awareness lecture under the invited guest lecture series was organized in the Department of Electrical Engineering here at Model Institute of Engineering and technology (MIET) for the students of 7th and 5thsemester, Electrical. The invited Guest, K.R. Suri ,Ex General Manager of Power Grid Corporation of India, Northern Region-II very candidly shared his vast repertoire of experiences and expertise related to his official responsibilities of restoring the transmission network and lines in the wake of any damage to the transmission lines during the natural calamities and disaster. Professor Nitin Langer, Head of Department, EED MIET, in his vote of thanks extended his gratitude to K.R.Suri for showing kind concern and for inspiring address to the students and the faculties of the EED. |
