Jammu, Nov 4: Yogananda College of Engineering & Technology (YCET) organized an industrial visit for its B-Tech students of Mechanical branch to Cadila Pharmaceuticals Ltd. Samba, Jammu.
The visit to the plant started with an initial round of briefing about the norms & safety parameters being used to the students by Ranbir Singh, the Asstt Manager-HR, which he said is mandatory to comply by the visitors. This was followed by a brief introduction & a video corporate presentation by Brig. Kamal Singh Chouhan-GM, HR & Administration, about the Co's profile achievement, positioning and its infrastructural facilities, plant layout from production, Engg Deptt, Quality Control Department (QCD), Quality Assurance Department (QAD), Packing to Logistics. Brig. Chouhan said Concept of Engineering wing & its significance in production. Bhubaneshwar Sharma Sr. Manager Mechanical wing explained about the support service provided by the Mechanical & electrical Wings in Production and appraised them about compressors and boilers being used in the operation.
