Jammu girl elected vice president in AMU | | | Early Times Report
Poonch, Nov 4: A girl student from Jammu studied in Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) in B.A. Honors of Sociology has been elected as vice president in Students Union. According to press release, Noorain Batool Khan D/o Lecturer Mohd. Qayyum Khan resident of Surhoti, Tehsil Mendhar, Distt. Poonch of state Jammu & Kashmir had won the election for the Post of vice president in AMU. It is a high time in the history that a girl belongs to the state of J & K had contested in AMU Election & won. Noorain said, "Today I am very happy that a dream which was shown by some friends came true when I was announced as a VP of AMU students union, it is the result of my friends dedication and constant hardworking. |
