ABVP observes social equality day on Ambedkar’s death anniversary

Jammu, Dec 6:Akhil Bhartiya Vidyrathi Parishad (ABVP) Jammu Mahanagar today observed 6th December as Social Equality Day, on the occasion of death anniversary of Baba Sahib Bhim Rao Ambedkar. According to press release the ABVP observed programmes at seven different educational institutions includes Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School Rehari, Govt Central Basic Higher Secondary School, Govt MAM PG College, GGM Sciences College, Sree Tutorials, Govt Higher Secondary School Bawa and Jammu University in the form of floral tributes. ABVP’s National Joint Organising Secretary Shreeniwas was chief Spokesperson in Govt. Girls Hr Secondary School Rehari and GHS School Bawa. Speaking on the occasion, he said that Baba BhimRao Ambedkar played a vital role diminishing the inequalities among Indians on the basis of cast.He struggled hard for establishing the social equality in our country. Dr Ambedkar faced many problems during his struggle of social equality but he always worked for his mission. He also played key role in framing our constitution. He was the charmain of drafting committee of constitution.
On the occasion of December 6, ABVP is celebrating his death anniversary as “social equality day”, we have to make pledge today to follow his footprints and to work hard to take forward his mission of inequalities free, discrimination free India. Other programmes was also organized in other institutions mentioned above in which ABVP J&K state President Dr. Virender Koundal, City secretary Aman Sharma, City Vice President Bahadur Singh, City 0rganizing Secretary. Ganesh Kunde, State vice president Mann Singh and others were spokesperson in these institutions.Ashok Kumar and Mahesh Kumar both independent candidates have been issued Kite and Rin as election symbols respectively while Asad Bari Shah (PDP), Ashok Kumar Sharma (Congress), Sitting MLA Rachhpal Singh (NC) Abdul Ghani Kohli (BJP) and Mohd Rafiq are the candidates belong to registered political parties.
