Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 6: The way BJP has deserted its agenda in the present assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir it appears that for the party RSS has not remained a source of inspirations. Instead of taking advice from RSS to formulate its agenda, the BJP seems that BJP is taking wise suggestions from its new Kashmir face Dr Heena Bhat and it is all due to her influence that party has shamelessly abandoned its ideology.
RSS leadership is completely sidelined by BJP leadership and most of the party leaders are taking directions from Dr Heena Bhat before speaking on any issues which were earlier base of party ideology.
Credible sources in the BJP said that party leadership in Kashmir has made it amply clear to the central and state leadership that they would not allow the party to speak on any issue which is against sentiments of Kashmiri people. And that is the reason that party leaders are skipping the issue like discrimination with Jammu region.
It was result of the threat of Dr Heena Bhat that a hardcore former RSS man like Ramesh Arora is toeing line of anti-national forces on the issues of AFSPA because he knows that violating dictates of Dr Bhat cost him dearly in his political career.
Most of the BJP leaders these days are talking about development only and trying to avoid issue like discrimination with Jammu in all spheres of life because these days they do not want to annoy Dr Heena Bhat and other Kashmir leaders. Earlier BJP leaders want to keep RSS leadership is good humour but now they are taking every possible step to keep their Kashmir unit in good humour because Kashmir unit has direct communication with a strong central leader.
Credible sources in the BJP said that Dr Heena Bhat has convinced a senior central BJP leader that instead of taking suggestions from RSS, they should adopt their own agenda in Kashmir valley due to different situation in this State.
Credible sources said that the BJP leader was convinced with the argument of Dr Heena Bhat because a faction within the party is of the opinion that after getting absolute power it is high time for the BJP to get rid of RSS. And the party has decided to start the process of abandoning RSS from Jammu and Kashmir. "If succeeded BJP will implement this experience in other parts of the country also because many leaders in the party are fed up with the unnecessary interference of RSS in the day to day affairs of the party", sources said and added that Jammu and Kashmir elections are test for the party in this step.
