BARAMULLA, Dec 6: Slamming BJP, former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir and Leader of the Opposition Ghulam Nabi Azad on Saturday said that "BJP is not only Misleading the people of Jammu and Kashmir but the entire world since 1947, Azad was addressing a huge gathering in Nowpora area of Sangrama constituency in Baramulla district of North Kashmir. Addressing a rally in Nowpora area of Sangrama constituency, Azad cautioned the people, saying that some Parties comes from Mumbai and Hyderabad, whereas they don't know the topography , tempraments and the problems of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
He said this is only to fool people for vote bank politics and there is nothing more Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) is doing a drama and which does not suit to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
"BJP is fully confused on how to sell its known anti-Jammu and Kashmir policy in the state. As such, indulges in making contradictory statements misleading people by falsifying facts, Azad said.
Leader of the Oppositions said, that the people of Jammu and Kashmir are well versed with the divisive, and regional bias nurtured by BJP since its inception, replying to a question Azad said, "BJP is not only misleading the people of Jammu and Kashmir but the entire world since 1947.
"Their anti-Congress propaganda is nothing but a poll plank to make inroads into the secular and pluralistic ethos of the state and materialise its hidden agenda of unbalancing the political stability and regional solidarity of Jammu and Kashmir," he said. Addressing a rally State Congress President Prof. Saifuddin Soz said that Congress represents the aspirations of people of all regions, sub-regions and all sections of the society, and does not require any certificate from any political party, as its popularity and faith of masses in Congress policy programmes are its strengths and credentials. The propaganda of BJP and RSS leadership does not know the problems of Kashmirs and other people, he criticised BJP for its deceitful policies and trading the interests of Jammu and Kashmir for personal ends, Soz said.
Prof. Saifuddin Soz and Ghulam Nabi Azad Saturday urged people of Sangrama constituency to whole heartedly support and vote for Shoiab Nabi Lone, 'who has been serving them best all these years.'
Needless to say that Shoiab has been helping the people of Sangrama Constituency whole heartedly and he deserve overwhelming support," they added. |
