Jammu, Dec 7: A National Lok Adalat was organized under the chairmanship of Principal district and sessions judge Inder Singh Samba in collaboration of Chairman Tehsil Legal Services Committee RK Dubey here at district court complex Samba. According to press release, all members of Bar Association Samba also participated in the National Lok Adalat. In the aforesaid 1402 cases were disposed of 20 MACT cases in which Rs. 60.35 Lakh was awarded, 96 bank cases in which more than one crore was awarded whereas Rs. 2.50 lakh was recovered on spot, 1000 traffic challans, 99 labour cases, 49 municipality cases, 15 crore compoundable cases, 2 applications U/S 488 crore PC and one application under domestic violence act, one agricultural cases, 86 cases under 36 police act, 40 cases of petty criminal cases and two civil cases. Munsiff Manzoor Hussain, Additional Special Mobile Magistrate Swati Gupta, Additional Munsiff Madhu Sharma were also present on the occasion. |
