Early Times Report

Jammu, Dec 7 : Congress contesting candidate from Nowshera constituency Ravinder Sharma on Sunday asked people to reject forces promoting communalism and separatist tendency in this sensitive State of Jammu and Kashmir and bring Congress to majority for over all and equitable development and to strengthen the secular bonds in the State.
Addressing series rallies at Nowshera, Thandapani, Balshama, Siot, Kangri, Khera, Lamberi, Dandesar, Ravinder Sharma said that certain forces for their political interests were promoting communal tendencies, which is dangerous for the peace and harmony in the State. He urged the people to reject such forces, which exploit and divide people on such issues and spread hatred in the society. He appealed to the people to support Congress party for over all development in the State and expressed hope that Congress will emerge victorious and form next government in the State. He said that BJP was not raising the issues promised by them to be fulfilled within 100 days of their government. He questioned the issue of Article 370 and Ram Mandir Issue. He also criticized Kashmir based political parties for raising emotional issues for votes by ignoring the broader interest of the State and the nation.
He appealed to the people to give decisive mandate to Congress party for good governance and equitable development in the State. He said that Congress party respects the aspirations of people of different sections of the society and strengthen the democracy at the grass root level.
