Over 4500 education employees working on court stays: DSE Jammu | Center yet to release funds under SSA | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Dec 7: Director School Education (DSE) Jammu Rashid Azim Inqalabi laid stress for equitable education opportunities of better quality education for the children's of rural areas of District Kishtwar. He said that despite highly qualified teaching faculty, the government schools fail to match private schools results in examination. "Compared to government schools, teachers of private schools are less qualified, but the result achieved by the private schools in examination every year is far better than the government schools", he said and urged upon the teaching community to work with zeal and zest for achieving better result in future and assured the gathering that schools of rural areas will be equipped with better quality facility and staff so that the children's of poor people get better quality education. In another question on delay in adjustment of promoted teachers to master grade since last over 8 months, he said that department has advertised over 19000 posts including those of teachers added that once new lot of teachers will be available through selection, these promoted masters will be adjusted. He also directed CEO Kishtwar to look into the pending scholarship cases and clear the same at an earliest. Education department also organized special cultural program at Kishtwar to welcome the DSE Jammu. Earlier Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Mohammad Javed Khan apprised the DSE about the various issues which include the issue of attachment of teachers and Masters, poor condition of buildings constructed under SSA and RAMSA and extended his full support to the department. |
