Manyal urges residents of Akle to bring back PDP for golden era 12/7/2014 11:25:56 PM Early Times Report Domana, Dec 7: Senior People's Democratic Party (PDP) leader and candidate from Raipur Domana constituency Chaman Manyal today addressed a public meeting at Akle village in his constituency ahead of the election which was organized by Shamsheer Singh Choudhary. While addressing the public gathering, Chaman Manyal urged the people of the constituency to back his party in the ensuing election so that a new system of justice and equality could be launched for overall development and economic growth. Manyal further said that both sitting MLA of Raipur Domana and the state government have ignored the constituency's problems related to power, water and roads. The people of the area have alleged that they suffered huge losses in the recent floods but the state government did not provide them with much compensation. "if elected to power this time, the PDP will resolve the local problems on a priority basis. The PDP leader said the three-year tenure of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed between 2002 and 2005 was a golden period of Jammu and Kashmir which saw big development", Manyal said. Whereas Shamsheer Singh Choudhary in his address said, "the PDP had worked for inclusive growth and development then".
