BJP dares Rahul Gandhi to hold rally in Srinagar | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Dec 7: The Bharatiya Janata Party Sunday dared Congress scion Rahul Gandhi to hold any rally in Jammu and Kashmir's summer capital Srinagar. BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh said that the remarks made by Ghulam Nabi Azad reflect the 'frustration' of Congress in JK "as the party feels that its ground is getting lost in Kashmir every day after in Jammu and Kashmir." Azad had attacked the BJP over Indian Prime Minister's rally in Srinagar and accused the right-wing party of inflating the number of people who would attend the rally. Chugh claimed that Azad was weak at mathematics and his remark that SK Stadium has a mere capacity of 4000 people, is the utter frustration of Congress as its "leadership is not in a position to even hold a single rally in Srinagar." The BJP leader also dared Congress to hold a single rally in Srinagar. "We have a time till 14 December. We challenge Congress and Rahul Gandhi to hold a rally in Srinagar." He claimed that the popularity of the BJP wave in JK has 'frustrated' Congress and it is felling that its ground is getting lost every day after in JK. He added that Prime Minister will address a one lakh people on December 8 at SK Stadium and the Congress is 'shelved in the state for times to come.' |
