Jammu, Dec 7 : Terming the decisive forces as dream sellers and hollow slogan mongers of these parties just appear during electioneering and after elections, disappear, Congress leader Raj Babbar said and asked the people to give befitting reply to all divisive forces and vote in favour of Congress party candidate Raman Bhalla, so as to form next Government in Jammu and Kashmir led by Congress. Addressing the gathering, Babbar said that Congress always stood for the welfare and upliftment of common man and fought for their legitimate rights. He hoped that the common masses, this time rising upon the divisive politics of religion, regionalism and casteism, shall again vote in favour of Congress candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency Raman Bhalla for another stint for next six years, so that the pace of development in the constituency may continue. He said this while seeking votes for Raman Bhalla during election rally in Preet Nagar areas of the Gandhi Nagar constituency here today. "The decisive forces are exploiting the poor people and down trodden sections of the society by showing them such dreams, which they cannot fulfill", Babbar added. While speaking, Raman Bhalla stated that the State witnessed unimaginable growth and development during Congress regime. He assured the masses that he will leave no stone unturned for the holistic development of the Gandhi Nagar constituency. Bhalla maintained that the remarkable works done by Congress has benefited the common masses to get their problems solved at their door steps in the constituency. Apart from creating unthinkable infrastructural facilities, Congress continued the spree of growth and development, whether it was creation of new administrative units, opening of health centres, new ITI, polytechnic, degree colleges and upgradation of various high and higher secondary schools, Bhalla added. "The public of J&K has realised that Congress is the only political party in J&K state which always propagate and promote pro-development and pro people policies. People of J&K had witnessed a revolution within the state with respect to infrastructural development, fine governance and inculcation of working culture", said Minister. |
