JAMMU, Dec 7 : The two-day 2nd State Petanque Championship, organised by J&K Pentanque Association, concluded today at KC International School, here. In the finals and prize distribution function, vice chairman of the host school, Chaitanya Chowdhary was chief guest while Principal of the School, Dr Ravi Bhushan and Subash Sharma were guests of honour.
The competition held under the supervision of organising secretary, Tarsem Sharma. He disclosed that around 160 students drawn from different schools, clubs and districts took part in this event.

BOYS: Team Event: Under-11 year: Harmandeep Singh, Aryan, Bhagyesh Koul, Ist; Paras, Smarth, Owais and Ritanshu, 2nd and Sharan, Arkit and Atharv, 3rd. Under-14 year: Asrahy, Deekshant and Rahat, Ist; Tahir, Shahnawaz Shreef and Prashant, 2nd and Aditya, Saksham, Rohit and Sparsh, 3rd. Under-17 year: Shoaib Shawl, Danish Gupta and Akshit, Ist; Nipun Gandhi, Vishavajeet Singh and Harseerat Singh, 2nd.
DOUBLES : Under-14: Syed Mehdi and Mehdi Mujffer, Ist; Yujutsu Sharma and Divjot Singh, 2nd and Tanish and Karan, 3rd. Under-17 year: Shoaib Shawl and Umar Dar, Ist; Bhavik and Deepak, 2nd; Kaushal Garg and Danish Sharma, 3rd.
MIXED DOUBLES : Sanath Sareen and Aakriti, Ist; Menjour Ahmed and Poonam Thakur, 2nd and Akshit Khajuria and Shirin Raina, 3rd.
