Early Times Report

Srinagar, Dec 29: Not a single guest from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir arrived here while 14 Kashmiris crossed over to other side of the Line of Control (LoC) in the last Karvan-e-Aman bus of 2014.
As many as eight returnees also crossed sides at Kaman post, the last Indian military post on this side of the LoC in Uri sector in north Kashmir.
Official sources said that there was no PoK guest in the bus which arrived at Kaman post this afternoon. However, eight Kashmiris, who had gone to PoK in previous buses, returned to their homes after completing stay with their relatives, separated in 1947 due to partition.
They said 14 Kashmiris, including four women, crossed over to PoK to meet their relatives, they said, adding there was no PoK returnees this time. The bus service, operating between Srinagar and Muzaffarabad, capital of PoK, has helped thousands of divided families to meet each other since April 7, 2005.
