Kishtwar, Dec 29: Senior Congress leader Shamsher Singh Bhandari while expressing grave concern over the shortage of staff in District Hospital Kishtwar urged the authorities immediately fill up the vacant posts of doctors and para medical staff in the Kishtwar. In a statement issued here, today, he said due to lack of doctors, paramedical staff and nursing orderlies the patient admitted in the hospital or those coming for treatment from far off place the district are facing many hardships and sometimes even patients die due to lack of proper care as the Hospital is running short of staff resulting into public resentment and protests. Bhandari while turning the attention of the authorities towards the issue said D H Kishtwar has one post of Anesthesia specialist, One dermatologist, one pathologist, one child specialist, one consultant Dentist, 12 assitant surgeons , one blood bank technician, one head pharmacist, three juniors pharmacist, one chowkidar, one washer man, one X-Ray technician senior, One junior X-Ray technician, three senior theatre technicians, three junior technician, one senior Opthalmologist, one senior grade nurse, three junior grade nurses, one X-Ray boy, one ward boy, one nursing supervisor, One generator operator, one pulmber, one lab boy, one senior nursing orderly post vacant and three is no ventilator. |
