Jammu, Dec 29: A farewell meet organized for Mohammad Shafi Rather, Commissioner/Secretary to Govt. Social Welfare Department by the Secretaries of various Boards under the Administrative control of Social Welfare Department at Pragati Bhawan, Jammu here today.
According to press release, Rather is attaining superannuation on 31st of December 2014, after serving at senior positions in the State Government including Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, HOD, and Administrator SMC, etc.
The function also attended by Ali Raza, Director Tribal Affairs, M.S.Choudary, Director Social Welfare Jammu, Dr.G.N.Itoo, Mission Director ICDS, Syed Showket Hussain Kazmi, Secretary, State Advisory Board for Development of Pahari Speaking People, YP Suman, Managing Director, SC, ST Corporation, Mehraj-u-din Rather, Secretary Women's Commission, Sham Lal, Secretary State Advisory Board for Welfare & Dev. of SC, Mohammad Latief Poswal, Secretary Gujjar & Bakarwal Board, Mohammed Tanvir, Secretary, J&K Advisory Board for Welfare & Dev. of OBC's, Aamir Ali, Secretary, J&K State Social Welfare Board, Babu Ram, Additional Secretary Social Welfare, Abdul Majid Bhat, Director Finance (SW), Joint Director Planning (SW) and other senior officers.
