Police solves kidnapping cases, two held

rajouri, Dec 29: Acting swiftly Police today claimed to have solved two cases of abduction in Rajouri District with the arrests of both abductors while rescuing a minor girl and the woman from the clutches of their abductors. Cases stand registered at respective police stations and further investigations are on.
Police under the supervision of SSP, Rajouri Dr Haseeb Mughal solved the two cases of kidnapping including of a minor girl within less than 72 hours of the first case reported on December 26.
Police sources said, "On December 28, Mohd Farooq of Manualbani Chapper Rajouri lodged complaint with Police Post Triyath (Kalakot) therein alleging that his minor daughter (name with held) has been kidnapped by some unidentified persons. Following the complaint (Daily Diary No 4) police swung into action and police teams fanned to various locations. "Police said today police recovered the girl from Bus Stand at Jammu, and also arrested the accused identified namely as Mohd Sharief s/o Mohd Nazir r/o Akhnoor presently putting up at Pampore (Kashmir), police sources said.
Police said, "Abductor and his victim were brought to Triyath and after medical examination the girl was handed over to the parents while accused has been booked FIR No 136/14 u/s 363 RPC (kidnapping,) registered at Police Station Dharamshal of Rajouri. Meanwhile Police has started the further investigation.
Yet in a similar case of abduction, Budhal police has also recovered a woman kidnapped on December 27 from her house in village Daraman of Rajouri.
Police sources said, "Mansha Begum w/o Manzzoor Hussain r/o Daraman was allegedly abducted by one Mohd Razak s/o Abdullaha resident of Targain. "Following a complaint from family members, the police swung into action and recovered the woman today from village Siyari Kewal near Budhal town, police sources said. After recovering the women, the Police brought the woman to District Hospital (DH) Rajouri for medical examination and booked the accused against FIR No84/2014 u/s 366/109 RPC.
