| Mother-son among three killed, nine injured in Chadwal mishap | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 29: Three persons including a mother and her minor son were killed while nine others received injuries when a bus and a tipper had a head on collision here today at Chadwal Morh.
A case stands registered in this matter.
Police sources said that a bus bearing regd no: JK02AC 1675 on its way from Jammu to Kathua collided with a tipper bearing red no: JK08B-7397 when it reached at Chadwal Morh resulting into death of three persons and injuries to nine others.
"The deceased has been identified as Sukhdevi (38) w/o Sanjay Kumar of Ghagwal and her nine year old son Nikhil and Naresh Kumari w/o Raghubir Singh of Shiva Nagar, Kathua.
"While the mother and son duo died on spot while injured Naresh Kumari succumbed to injuries at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) during treatment, sources said.
They added the other son of deceased lady Sukhdevi identified as Sahil Kumar too got injured in this road tragedy while other injured have been identified as Beerta Sharma w/o Parshotam of Kalashpur, Kathua, Kartika w/o Shashi Paul and her son Raghu (16yrs) of Narot Jaimal Singh Pathankote, Punjab, Gurav Abrol s/o Surinder Kumar of Kathua, bus conductor Charanjit Singh, s/o Bachan Singh of Beeru Chak, Chadwal, Diksha Sharma d/o Rishi Sharma of Shiv Nagar, Kathua and Rakesh Kumar s/o Raja Ram of Kalibari Kathua and one unidentified person who also is undergoing medical treatment.
The concerned Police have registered a case and have started investigation in this regard. |
