JPUF pledges to fight for cause of Jammu region

Jammu, Jan 9 : Jammu Pradesh United Front (JPUF) today pledged to fight for the cause of Jammu region. According to press release, a meeting was held in which Balwant Singh Mankotia, was elected as JPUF convenor unanimously while Uday Chand, Sunil Dimple, Anan Sharma and Krishan Manhas shall comprise the team of spokesmen of the front and Gagan Pratap Singh as press secretary. Mankotia said that it has been a landmark event in the political history of Jammu Pradesh that several organizations have assembled under one umbrella to fight for the cause of Jammu region. "We shall act as observers and keep a strict vigil on the political situation of J&K and make sure that the people of Jammu are not betrayed again by any political party", Mankotia said and added that people of Jammu have given an unprecedented response to the slogan of Chief Minister from Jammu to end the 65 years long discrimination against Jammu Pradesh. Hefurther said that it is now or never battle for Jammu and we support the public demand of Chief Minister from Jammu region. It is a life time chance for the BJP with 25 MLA's to form the government headed by the CM from Jammu region and if it could not happen then the people of Jammu would feel cheated and humiliated", Mankotia asserted.
If Kashmir Centric parties disrespect the mandate of Jammu Pradesh, People are left with no alternative but a Separate Jammu State. He said that Rehabilitation and one time settlement of West Pak refugees, POJK refugees of 1947,1965,1971 wars, Jammu migrants and the border residents would remain priority of the Front.
