PDD employees oppose Govt's move of privatization, come up with new forum 1/9/2015 10:55:57 PM Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Jan 9: Eight associations of Power Development Department (PDD) employees today formed a new body under the banner of Jammu Kashmir Power Development Department Employees Forum (JK PDD Employees Forum). The step has been taken to scuttle the government's alleged move to privatize PDD. This was decided in a meeting of the office bearers of the previous eight associations. During the meeting a resolution was passed under which it was decided that government's move to privatize PDD would be fought tooth and nail by the employees of the department. The new forum vowed to fight for the cause of the employees more so those of the PDD. In a statement, the officiating press secretary of the JK PDD Employees Forum said that the next course of action to be adopted would be announced in a press conference that is going to be held very shortly.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
