Imposition of Governor's rule unfortunate: Vakil 1/9/2015 11:27:29 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Jan 9: Terming the imposition of Governor's rule in J&K State as unfortunate and a hasty move, former Minister and senior Congress leader Abdul Gani Vakil said that imposition can be termed as a step towards weakening and undermining of democratic institutions. Vakil said that the time is now ripe for secular parties to get united and show their respect for verdict of the people. He also said that democratic institutions need to be strengthened and upheld without inordinate delay. He urged upon the Governor to ensure that State administration gears up and concentrates upon the rehabilitation of flood affected families and mitigating the problems of border people who are facing lot of difficulties due to border skirmishes.
