Jammu, Jan 9: In connection with eve of the New Year celebrations Jammu and Kashmir Rashtra Bhasha Prachar Samiti (JKRBPS) today hold a multi lingual Mushaira here, at K. Sehgal hall, Culture Academy, Jammu.
According to press release, Dr. Baljeet Raina and Amin Banhali and Neeru Sharma presided over.
Neeru Sharma, president Rashtriya Bhasha samiti, in her welcome address congratulated to all the poets present on this occasion While giving the details of the various literary activities she informed that the Samiti is also going to organize a Natya path in the last week of this month, where in the plays written by the Dr. Sudhir Mahajan, Rajneesh Gupta and Kumar. A. Bharti shall be read themselves.
The prominent poets who recited their poems included Prof. Raj Kumar, Krishan Kumar Sharma, Sanjeev Bhasin, Kanwaljeet Choudary, Pawan Khajuria, Sonamika Gandhi, Sashwata, Yogita Yadav, Kanchan Kiran, Usha Kiran, Kewal Kishan 'Kewal', Swami Anteer Neerav, Baljeet Raina, Rahat Husain, Khursheel Kazmi, Sham Talib, Raj Kumar Behrupia, Ghasha Pawel, K.L Dewana, Bhishan Das Khak, M S Khanwara and Amita Mehta. Proceedings of the programme were conducted by prof. Bharat bhushan while vote of thanks presented by Dr. Sudhir mahajan Vise president JKRBPS. The function was attended by the galaxy of writers, poets and other literary personality of the state. |
