Guneet selected as Anchor in BAJA SAE 2015 2/5/2015 10:26:58 PM Early Times Report Katra, Feb 5: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, student of Mechanical Engineering Guneet Singh today selected as an anchor to during the BAJA SAE 2015 scheduled which was held at Indore. According to press release, Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) annually holds an event BAJA, which is now an international event in which teams of students from various universities all across the world participate by designing and fabricating ATV (All Terrain Vehicle). Team MECHANIX from SMVDU (only team from J&K state) participated in BAJA SAE in the past also and has brought laurels to the university and the state. TEAM MECHANIX consists of 25 students of School of Mechanical Engineering under the guidance of Varun Dutta (Asst. Professor, SME) and Mir Irfan Ul Haq (Asst. Professor, SME).
