| Chief Scientist participates in ‘on farm school under NMAET | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 5: Third one day training programme was organized in 'On Farm School' at Village Chang, Block Vijaypur, District Samba under National Mission on Agricultural Extension and Technology.
On This occasion Chief Scientist incharge Pulse Research Station Samba Dr B. S. Jamwal while delivering his lecture on seed production Technology to participants of the On Farm School advised the farmers to produce better quality seed in their farming lands by adopting improved agronomic practices. He also aware the farmers regarding diversification to improve the Socio-economic condition of the farmers.
Project Director ATMA V K Bhushan educate the farmers regarding role of central sponsored schemes in the field of agricultural extension and aware the farmers to keep in touch with the experts of the ATMA in the District for effective implementation of the Technology in farmers fields.
Dy. Project Director ATMA Ashok Gupta gave a brief concept and importance of Kissan Credit Card to participants of the On Farm School and advised the farmers to take benefits from this schemes which is meant for their agricultural activities.
