Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 25: The RMSA partners IL&FS Skills are allegedly fleecing employees by paying them less salary but showing more in records. The scandal has been running in IL&FS Skills since the company had started its operation in Jammu and Kashmir and in case any of the Vocational Trainer dared to raise voice against such activities he/she is threatened to be terminated. Sources informed Early Times that some VTs working under IL&FS complained that as per advertisement, the RMSA partners claim that they have paid Rs. 20,000 as salary to each Vocational Trainer per month, but actually they paid Rs.1200 less than the amount claimed in documents.
As per salary slip issued in by the IL&FS Skills to each employee, the basic salary is Rs. 2,900, HRA 1,450, conveyance allowance Rs. 773, City compensatory allowance is Rs. 13,000 and statuatory PF fund which is deducted from salary is Rs. 348 and ESIC is Rs. 318, aggregating to Rs. 18,790 which is Rs. 1210 less than the amount shown in the advertisement of the company. "In the advertisement the Company claims to pay Rs. 20,000 per month to each employee but by giving less amount to over 77 VTs across state working under this company, a total of Rs. 93,170 is embezzled by the officials", the VTs alleged.
They further alleged that the Company has been doing lot of embezzlements in the recruitment and payment of salary to the employees. "Posts of different types are advertised by the company but instead of recruitment through proper manner, the company adjusted their blue-eyed, besides eight more companies have been working in state and apart from deducting PF, they have been giving all the salary to the employees", they said.
They further said that time and again they had complained to RMSA through e-mail, through Chief Minister Grievance cell but no action has been taken against the officials of the ILFS Skills, hinting at deep rooted nexus.
