RS Pura police solves blind murder case

Jammu, Feb 25: RS Pura today claimed to have solved a blind murder case of 17 year old boy of RS Pura.
Police spokesman said that on Feb 18th of 2018, a written complaint received from Anil Mahajan that his 17 yrs old son namely Abhay Mahajan alias Abhi of ward no- 1, R S Pura is missing since Feb 17, 2018 evening.
Acting on the complaint a case under FIR- 22/18 under section 363 of RPC was registered at Police Station RS Pura.
"During search of missing boy, Surinder Choudhary SDPO RS Pura along with Inspector Bishnesh SHO RS Pura reached Kotli Gala Bana RS Pura (near Peer Baba) and found one gunny bag in drain", said spokesman adding that on opening it a human dead body was found in it which was later on identified as missing boy namely Abhay Mahajan alias Abhi. On this offence under section 302 of RPC added in the case and efforts were made to work out the blind murder. During investigation it was found that three persons namely Dheeraj Sharma alias Tinku of, Ankur Arora alias Anku and Naresh alias Neshu all residents of RS Pura have planned and executed the murder to extort money from father of deceased on the pretext that his son has been kidnapped by them.
Deceased Abhay was called telephonically by accused Tinku (who was known to him as earlier also they use to have drinks together) using stolen SIM and taken him to Gala Bana where he was murdered by them by inflicting injuries with sharp edged weapon (Toka). Later on his body was packed in gunny bag and thrown to isolated place.
All three accused persons have been arrested and case has been solved under the close supervision of Romesh Kotwal SP HQ Jammu and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
