| JPCA calls on ARTO | | |  Early times report
Udhampur, Feb 28: Jammu Province Contractors Association (JPCA) under the chairmanship of President Suraj Mahendru on Wednesday called on ARTO Udhampur Kuldeep Singh at ARTO Office Udhampur.
They registered resentment against ARTO Udhampur for failing to implement the High Court ruling which says that no outside registered dumbers can be used with in state for Commercial Purpose. They said that even after holding meetings with RTO Jammu, no step has been taken by ARTO Udhampur to act on High Court's Judgement.
While criticizing outside contractors, JPCA also said that these contractors hardly care for precious lives of locals and also violates traffic norms. They also alleged that due to negligence of ARTO, locals contractors are suffering the most and are left without employment.
JPCA also met Concern person of Gammon India Pvt. Itd. who is handling Chenani-Nashri and Ramban projects for alleged delay in payments of workers and contractors they also said that only 15-20% of the payment is released which is making troublesome for the locals workers. Also there is a dispute of quantities that are measured by the company employees. |
