Batwals of India observes Nirvan Divas of Sri Guru Gyagi Ji | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 28: The Batwals India (A Social Organization) observed the 42nd Nirvan Divas of Sri Guru Gyagi Ji at Pannase Layout, today. Considerable number of locals and prominent persons attended the programme and paid floral tributes to Guru. Speaking on the occasion, the organisation general secretary R.L.Kaith said Guru's amazing spiritual personality, teachings and love for humanity had made him very popular during his lifetime. While Subedar organisation advisor Subedar Tilak Raj Motan said Guru gave the message of one God who dwells in everyone of His creations and constitutes the Eternal Truth. He set up a unique spiritual platform based on equality fraternal love, goodness and virtue. Guru lived in Shahzadpur until the end of his days. He returned to his Eternal Home on 25 February, 1977 after having passed on his spirit and divine gifts to his successor Baba Barlaki, gathering was told. The Batwals India also paid homage to the martyrs of Sunjwan counter terrorists operation. Its members observed two minute silence to pray to Almighty God to rest the brave soldiers in peace. Members urged the gathering to remain united to fight enemies who are about to subvert the unity and integrity of the country. |
