Jammu, Feb 28: A week long Sports meet was organized by KC Gurukul College of Education in college premises from 19th to 24th Feb; 2018, Chairman, Arvind Mahajan was Chief Guest. He inaugurated sports week. Various sports activities like Kho-kho, Cricket, Badminton, Chess, Table tennis, Spoon-race were conducted in which students participated and displayed their talents. A Cricket match was played between the students of Semester-2nd and 4th which was won by the Semester 4th. In Kho-kho, the team of Semester 4th also emerged as winner. In Badminton, Sunil of 1st Semester and Heena of 4th Semester were declared as Winner. While in Chess Sourav and Nisha Sharma were declared as Winner. Arvind Mahajan, in his address said that aim of event is to provide an opportunity to students to develop mentally and physically for their overall development apart from academic knowledge. The Programme was organized under guidance of members of Sports Committee. Principal, Anubha Munshi appreciated and congratulated students and staff members of college. She also presented vote of thanks. |
