| Apple Kids celebrates Annual Day | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 28: Apple Kids, Sainik Colony celebrated today its Annual Day function amidst great fanfare with full gusto and enthusiasm.
Chief Guest for the occasion Dr. Pawan Kotwal (IAS) Principal Secretary Health & Medical Education Department conveyed his good wishes for the management, students and staff for the excellent work they are doing in providing quality education to little children.
The function was adorned by Dr. Samir Mattoo Director Family Welfare & MCH, J&K and Dr. Chand Trehan, Adolescent Education Program CBSE who were the Guests of Honour, Deepa Kotwal, the Special Guest and Sanjay Mehra, Chief Coordinator, Apple Kids J&K.
The students presented the colourful cultural fiesta through their enthralling dance performances in the form of modern dance, prop dance etc. Jr. KG and Sr. KG students through the skits 'Swatchta Abhiyaan', 'Sacrifices of a Tree' and dance drama on 'Nari Shakti' conveyed the beautiful messages to the audience. Dr Samir Mattoo and Dr Chand Trehan also spoke on the occasion appreciating the children performances and wished the best for the school. Centre Head Bindu Mehra presented the mementoes to the esteemed guests.
Principal of the school Veena Aswal presented the Vote of Thanks with special mention to all their teachers for their significant quantum of efforts, students for their wonderful performances on stage and parents for their valuable contribution and quality time to reach the zenith of accomplishment. |
