The members raised serious concern in respect of J & K State is ignored by the Central Govt. while extending the Package of Incentive to the North Eastern States resulting uncertainty prevailed in respect of future Industrial Growth in the State. They also appreciated the role Chief Minister and Industries Minister for taking up the matter with the Union Government for the extension of DIPP Package of Incentives for the State at par with the North Eastern States. It is pertinent to mentioned here that the people of the J & K State is suffering very badly since last 18 years due to Militancy & Geographical Location being located at the far end of the Northern India with Land Lock State, Higher Input Cost resulting higher production cost & limited marketing avenues, surrendered by the Hostile Neighbors like Pakistan and China but inspite of all the Odds the Industrial Sector is working and providing Direct and Indirect Employment to the lakhs of local peoples. |
