3 member committee to probe appointment of Night Chowkidars

Kishtwar. Mar 23: After complaints about backdoor appointment of Night Chowkidars in Kishtwar, Doda & Ramban, the government finally accorded sanction for constituting of three member committee to probe the complaints.
The committee has been asked to submit its report till 10-4-2018.
As per the details available with "Early Times", in pursuance to Director, Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS & CA) Department Jammu No. 175/PF/TSO/3331-35 Dated 15-11-2017 and No. 179/PF/TSO P-III/514 Dated 26-2-2018, the sanction was accorded to the constitution of three member committee to be headed Assistant Commissioner Revenue Kishtwar while Assistant Director Handicraft Kishtwar and Assistant Regional Transport Officer Kishtwar will be the members of the inquiry committee.
As per the order issued by Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar vide No. DDCK/Plg/FCS&CA-235/2017-18/16745-51, the committee so shall constitute will inquire into the fake appointment of Night Chowkidars in FCS & CA department in District Kishtwar, the government incorporated Deputy Director (P&S) Mohammad Iqbal Zarger who is the member of the committee on behalf of FCS&CA Department and shall be deputed by the Directorate of FCS&CA Department Jammu along with the record as and when the committee shall require the services of the said officers .
However it was not clear whether same committee will probe the backdoor appointments in Doda and Ramban District or the inquire into the backdoor appointments of Night Chowkidars in respective Districts with be conducted by the separate committees.
