DPS students excel in National essay competition

Jammu, Mar 23: 75 students of Delhi Public School, Jammu brought laurels to the school by excelling in National level essay writing competition organized by Korea Cultural Centre of Embassy of the Republic of Korea.
According to press release, the competition was held in the month of July, 2017, the result of which was declared on Friday.
They were awarded Certificates of Honour from the Embassy of the Republic of Korea for their meritorious writings.
The primary aim was to raise student awareness and interest in geographical, political and general knowledge of the world, increase the understanding of students over international & regional centers. It was conducted in two categories: Junior group (Class VII to IX) and senior group (Class X to XII).The topics were "What I like about South Korea" and Why I want to visit to South Korea'? respectively.
The students participated whole heartedly and enthusiastically and presented highly crafted out ideas.
Principal, DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chabra applauded the literary effort of the students and said that such competitions add to the students' academic profile and enhance their exposure in National & International arena. Headmistress, Ms. Meenu Gupta also appreciated the educative International Exposure and enhancement in the learning abilities of the students through such competitions.
President, RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh Ji, PVC, Kunwrani Ritu Singh Ji and Director, S.S Sodhi Ji extended their best wishes to the participants and their parents.
