| GDC Udhampur organizes awareness rally on Save Water | | |  Early Times Report
Udhampur, Mar 23: An awareness rally to Save Water was organized by the NCC Wing of Govt. College for Women Udhampur today. The rally was flagged off by the Principal of the college Dr. Chander Shekhar from the campus. The rally was accompanied by Prof. Sumita Rao and Prof. Poonam Rajput.
On this occasion NCC Cadets took pledge to save water save earth, save generation followed by the address of worthy Principal, in which he emphasized on the judicious use of water. The rally started from GCW Udhampur passed through Sailan Talab-Chabutra Bazar-Main Bazar-Mukherjee Bazar-Court Road and culminated at DC Office Udhampur. Additional DC Udhampur Krishan Chand also addressed the cadets in DC office regarding the conservation of water.
He said that no water means no life, so we have to save and conserve our drinking water from extra spend as well as from being polluted by following various techniques of water conservation. |
