| Drug peddler held with 20 gram heroin | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 1: In continuation to operation 'Sanjeevani', a special drive against drugs launched by Jammu Police, today arrested a drug peddler and recovered 20 gram heroin from his possession.
Police spokesman said that Pacca Danga Police while on Naka duty at Manda signalled one vehicle for police check. "During search police party apprehended one drug peddler along with 20 grams heroin like substance from his possession", said spokesman.
In this regard a case under FIR No.49/2018 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Pacca Danga police station and further investigation of case is going on.
The arrest and recovery was made by Police team headed by SI Dheeraj Nagpal, SHO Pacca Danga under the supervision of SDPO City North and SP City North Jammu. |
