Early Times Report

Jammu, Apr 1: Pressure on national BJP leader, who is already facing allegation of taking anti-Jammu stand in J&K to project himself as 'liberal and secular', has yielded result as BJP during its state working committee meeting reject demand of handing over Rassana alleged rape and murder case to the CBI.
Credible sources said that when some members raised the issue and pointed towards fast unto death started by four women, BJP turned furious and mentioned that there was no need to support that demand.
Speaking on the dictates of the senior leader local BJP leaders said that Crime Branch is competent enough to investigate the case. They said that government will ensure that no innocent would be harassed.
Credible sources said that some party leaders who sought detailed discussions on this issue to pacify agitating people of Hiranagar, were snubbed by seniors and asked them not to give importance to this issue with a assurance that being part of the government they would not allow injustice with any one.
Meanwhile sources said, BJP leadership has set prediction for its expelled leader Vijay Kumar, who is heading Hindu Ekta Manch, to quit from the post to ensure his reentry in the party. "Vijay Kumar has been directed to resign from the presidentship of Hindu Ekta Manch if he wants to re-entry the party", sources said and revealed that Vijay Kumar has already became inactive following directions of the party leadership.
