Jammu, Apr 2: Killing of 13 terrorists on Sunday by security forces has dealt a serious blow of the terrorists operating in Kashmir valley. It has punctured the Pakistan game plan of spike in terrorist activities in the Valley.
Sources said the operation was carried out after a specific information that terrorists of Hizbul Mujahideen and Lashkar-e-Taiba were holding meeting to execute their nefarious design of spike in terrorists activities.
The sources said the security forces and more the state police had been developing specific intelligence about this possible meeting and it was after it was sure of the specific details that the three operations were carried out in one-go. "It has been after long that 13 terrorists hade been shot dead in a single day in the valley. It has sent out a clear message that there will not be any let down of the guard by the security forces and it 's going all out to ensure that there is no violence in the towns of the valley in this summer," said the sources. They said that since majority of the terrorists shot dead by the security forces were local it also sent a message to the foreign terrorists that ground support for them won't be coming and who so ever is giving them support will face consequences. "The operation has also sent out a hard message to the Pakistan that if it intends to send terrorists in the state they will not able to survive as first they will not get local terrorists to support them and secondly they local intelligence for their movement will be missing and they will fall into the trap quite easily," said the sources. The sources said that the government has decided to send a clear message that it will go hard on anyone picking up guns. |
