Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 2: The expelled, agitating students, joined by their comrades on Monday gheraoed the Vice Chancellor, University of Jammu, Prof RD Sharma, who entered the campus from 'back' door to escape students' anger.
The students have been agitating against autocratic system of JU, and even after their arbitrary and unjustified expulsion from the campus, the students are mobilizing their colleagues to fight for rights.
Like other days, when the indefinite strike begun in JU, following suspension four students, the entire students' fraternity had come in rescue of their comrades. "VC, Prof R D Sharma, who is aware about, the anger among students, played a trick and entered the campus, though 'backdoor' Zorwar Singh auditorium, but the students blocked his away", said the eyewitness and added the official car of VC remained stranded for more than one hour.
However, instead of talking to the agitating students, the VC called Police, and fearing any action from Police, the students allowed VC to move toward his office. "Sadly, it was not an attempt to muzzle our voice, we are not fighting for VC's chair, we are just urging the administration to revoke suspension our friends", said a student and added that VC is acting like more loyal than king, but we are also aware and have capability to get out rights, by hook or crook, they threaten.
