KVIB organizes exhibition cum sale at Tulip garden

Srinagar, Apr 2: A 3-day exhibition cum sale of Khadi & Village Industries Products manufactured by the entrepreneur of Jammu and Kashmir Khadi & Village Industries Board (J&K KVIB) was organized here today at Tulip Garden, Srinagar. The exhibition cum sale was inaugurated by Vice Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Khadi and Village Industries Board (KVIB) Peerzada Mansoor Hussain in the presence of Deputy Chief Executive Officer KVIB Kashmir Division, Muzzafar Allaqband and other functionaries.
While speaking on the occasion, Vice Chairman of J&K KVIB- Peerzada Mansoor Hussain informed that these events are organized to make genuine Khadi and Village Industries Product available to buyers and such events swill be organized in future also. Earlier, Deputy Chief Executive Officer KVIB Kashmir Division, Muzzafar Allaqband elaborated in detail the aim for organizing the exhibition. He informed that this exhibition is organized to showcase Village Industry Products, besides providing knowhow to domestic as well as foreign tourists about the heritage craft and craftsmanship of Kashmir. He added that this exhibition is organized under the initiative Kashmir destination.
On the first day of the exhibition cum sale, various items were displayed by the Khadi Village & Industries Board, which included Paper Machie, Wood Carved items, Kashmiri carpets, Woolen and Khadi items. Large number of visitors, including foreign tourists thronged the exhibition cum sale and appreciated the village products.
