Railway jobs 2018: 401 vacancies announced, check cr.indianrailways.gov.in to apply

Railway jobs 2018: For aspirants of government jobs in the Indian Railways, there is yet another good news. The Central Railway has invited applications for the recruitment of Jan Sadharan Ticket Booking Sevaks. Eligible candidates can apply through official website at cr.indianrailways.gov.in. According to the notification, a total of 401 positions of JTBS are vacant at different locations. The details of location wise vacancies can be obtained from the DRM(C) office, Passenger section, Annex Building, Ground floor, Central Railway, Mumbai CSMT. The candidates can also get application booklet from the above mentioned office address on any working day, between 10 am to 5 pm, through a payment of Rs 500, said the official notification.

The candidates can check other details about the recruitment after clicking the Central Railway’s website www.crindianrailways.gov.in. They can also download application booklet from the website. If the candidates are applying through the downloaded form, they need to deposit Rs 500 fee while submitting the form online.

The Central Railway has also invited applications for the post of Senior Resident. Eligible candidates can appear for walk-in interview on April 18, 2018.

Eligibility Criteria: The candidates must have a Post Graduate Degree or Diploma from any university recognized by state or Central government.

Age Limit: 33 years for those having Post Graduate qualification, and 35 years for post-Doctoral Degree holders.

Selection Process: The candidates must appear for a walk-in interview on April 18, 2018 in Medical Director’s Office, Dr BAM Hospital, Central Railway, Byculla, Mumbai.

The Konkan Railways Corporation Limited (KCRL) has also invited applications for the post of Electrician and ESTM. Interested candidates should apply on or before April 22, 2018.

Number of Vacancies:

Electrician -III/Electrical: 42 Posts
Electrical Signal and Telecom Maintainer (ESTM) –III: 30 Posts
Educational Qualification:
Electrician -III/Electrical: Candidates must have a degree in Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI in trades of Electrician/Wireman/Mechanic HT from government recognised institutions in ITI.

Electrical Signal and Telecom Maintainer (ESTM)–III: Candidates must have a degree in Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI in trades of Electrician/Electronics Mechanic/Wireman (OR) Matriculation/SSLC plus CCAA from government recognised institutions in ITI.

It may be noted that vacancies for Group C, Group D positions have also been announced by the East Coast Railways Recruitment. The Railways has issued notification for filling up various posts. A huge Railway jobs 2018 recruitment drive for 90,000 vacancies recently ended on March 31.
