| 3 held with brown sugar in Sunderbani | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 30: Rajouri police claimed to have arrested three persons and seized a car after they were found having brown sugar in possession during the checking of the vehicle.
Police spokesman said that a routine police naka was established by Rajouri police team headed by ASI Sudarshan Sharma on highway near ITI Complex Sunderbani when at about 07:30 PM yesterday evening, a Maruti 800 bearing registration number JK02P-6331 (Sky Blue color) driven by Rahul Sharma resident of Shant Nagar Colony Janipur Jammu was intercepted.
"Car was coming from Rajouri towards Sunderbani and two more persons besides driver were present in it", said spokesman adding that during physical search, police party recovered 05 grams brown sugar from the possession of Rahul Sharma, 05 grams from Mohit Baba both residents of Shant Nagar Janipur Colony Jammu and 8 grams brown sugar from the possession of Parwaiz Ahmed resident of Seri Khawaja in Poonch.
A total of 18 grams brown sugar was recovered from them possession of three boys and whole operation was carried out under the close supervision Additional SP Nowshera, Master Popsy and SHO Sunderbani Inspector Tilak Raj.
On this, a case under FIR No. 82/2018 under section 8/21/22/29 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Sunderbani and investigation taken up. |
