7/30/2018 11:54:35 PM
Early Times Report

JAMMU, July 30: The state government had made two committees to examine the demand of National Health Mission Employees but the demand of the regularisation is yet to be considered as the committees didn't submit its report to the concerned authority so far.
Moreover, some employees accused the Provisional President of Jammu of betraying the employees by not taking all employees into confidence before calling off the strike and in a number of decisions.
As per government order no 151-HME-2017 dated 15-03-2017, the constitution of a committee to examine the demand of employees hired under the National Health Mission. The committee comprising Director Health Service Jammu, Director Health Service Kashmir, Mission Director NHM J&K, Additional Secretary to the Government (C), Health and Medical Education Department and asked them to submit its report within the period of two months.
After nine months, another group of officers' committee was constituted vide government order no 174-GAD-2018, dated 29-01-2018, to examine the same issue. The committee comprising Administrative Secretary Health and Medical Education had been appointed as Convener, Principal Secretary to the then Chief Minister, Administrative Secretary, and General Administrative Department appointed as members.
"Despite two committees the issue has not been addressed by the concerned authority so far and it seems our efforts and a long agitation in solidarity with demand were in vain due to lack of efforts of the above-said person, who didn't take all employees into confidence, "a group of employees, seeking anonymity told, adding that since then no such effort was being made to pursue the matter.
They said due to president's lack of interest, the file is gathering dust on the table of the concerned authority, despite repeated requests to follow the issue. Since then no such types of activity has taken place with any government official to review the file and suitable action would be taken to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
