Udhampur, July 30: Recent heavy rainfall damaged the house of a poor family at Village Kanala Panchayat Ladana, Ramnagar of Udhampur district.
Awaiting compensation, the damily lives under open sky.
Nearly 14 days ago house of Raju Bhagat was fully damaged due to heavy rainfall.Luckily family members including two kids escaped unhurt during the collapse but no one from revenue department visited the damily.
No Relief material has been provided to them till date.
Raju while talking to Early Times said that due to recent heavy rainfall our house got damaged and the farm land was also washed away.
He said a revenue official wad very rude to him when he called him.
Additional deputy commissioner Udhampur said he was not aware of the incident. |
