| Thief held, stolen laptop recovered within 24 hours | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 30 : Police today claimed to have arrested a thief and recovered stolen laptop from his possession within 24 hours of commission of offense.
Police spokesman said that on 29-07-2018, one Lovish Kapoor of Rehari colony Jammu lodged a written complaint in Police Post Sarwal regarding theft of his laptop from his house.
On this, a case under FIR No 97/2018 under sections 457 and 380 of RPC was registered at Bakshi Nagar police station and investigation started.
"During the course of investigation, many suspects were rounded up to recover the stolen laptop and today during questioning from one Hunny Chopra of Rehari colony Jammu, he revealed his involvement in above said theft case", said spokesman adding that on his disclosure above said stolen Laptop was recovered from his possession and the case worked out within 24 hours.
The arrest and recovery was made by a team of Police led by SI Jatinder Singh Rakwal-in-charge Police Post Sarwal under the supervision of Inspector Naresh Sharma-SHO Bakshi Nagar. |
