Mendhar, Oct 4: Missing from last ten days, the semi-decomposed body of a person was found under mysterious circumstances in Mankote area of Poonch district. Sources said that the semi-decomposed body of one, identified as Makhdoom Ali son of Mohammad Sadeeq resident of Kas Blari of Bagiote area in tehsil Mankote of Poonch was today morning recovered from a field under mysterious circumstances.
The body was spotted by the deceased wife Shareefa Bi and later informed the family and accordingly the police. Besides, the body, two bottles of poison, match box and a mobile phone were recovered from the site, they said. Police party headed by SHO Mohammad Inayat visited the spot and after performing the medico-legal formalities handed over the body to family for last rites. SSP Poonch Rajiv Pandey while talking to Early Times said that the body of the deceased has been handed over to the family for last rites while a case under section 174 CRPC has been registered to ascertain the cause of the death. |
