CEO intervenes to get hoardings of BJP-PDP Govt removed

Kishtwar, Oct 5: A day after ET highlighted the brazen violation of model code of conduct imposed after announcement of Urban Local Bodies Elections and Panchayat polls, the District administration Kishtwar on the intervention from the office of the Chief Electoral Officer J&K today removed majority of hoardings installed across Kishtwar District highlighting the achievements of PDP-BJP government.
As per the details available with ET, the team of various government officials including Tehsildar Kishtwar, AEE R&B Kishtwar and officials from other department removed the hoardings.
As reported by "Early Times", several grand hoardings were installed at the main entrance of District Office Complex Kishtwar that also holds the office of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar who is also District Election Officer Kishtwar ent

Bunch of hoardings were installed under the close nose of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar as well as District Election Cell Kishtwar to which both DC Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana as well as officials posted at District Election Cell Kishtwar including Deputy Election Officer, Returning Officer Rishi Sharma (SDM Padder), ACD Kishtwar Anil Kumar Chandail, DPO Kishtwar Sunil Butyal and District Social Welfare Officer Kishtwar Mohsin Raza Ahanger whose offices are located in the same complex also turned blind eye towards the major breach in Model Code of conduct.
The hoarding carry messages of MLA Kishtwar as Transport Minister, former Minister for PHE, I&FC Sham Lal Chowdhary and his deputy Farooq Indrab and former Health Minister Bali Baghat highlighting the achievements of Health Department.
