Jammu, Oct 5: Public Safety Act (PSA) has been slapped against notorious criminal namely Sunil Kumar alias Gokul resident of Chak Aslam Tehsil RS Pura District Jammu who was involved in several criminal cases and six FIRs have already been registered against him at Police Station RS Pura.
Police spokesman said that recently the said accused was arrested by RS Pura Police in attempt to murder case and was presently lodged in Central Jail Kot Balwal Jammu.
Since the accused was involved in number of attempt to murder cases, snatching and illegal possession of arms, his presence in the society posed threat to peace loving inhabitants of the area.
Subsequently, a dossier was prepared and submitted to District Magistrate Jammu through proper channel, who issued office order No.09 of PSA 2018 dated O1.10.2018 regarding detention of the said criminal under PSA.
The PSA warrant was executed and the criminal has been lodged at Central Jail, Kot Bhalwal Jammu. The PSA warrant was executed by police party headed by SI Ved Parkash under the close Supervision of Inspector Bishnesh Kumar, SHO Police Station RS Pura, DySP Sourabh Prashar, SDPO RS Pura. |
