Ugly infighting: BJP disowns farmers who support PM Modi on farmers’ bill
1/13/2021 11:21:28 PM
Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 13: While BJP leadership at national level is trying to rope-in farmers to support farms' bills, J&K unit of the party has brazenly discouraged farmers who are supporting these laws. While farmers in different parts of the country have launched an agitation against these laws, farmers of Marh under the leadership of former minister Sukhnandan Choudhary organized a massive rally in support of these laws. Instead of supporting initiatives taken by Sukhnandan Choudhary, BJP leadership disowned these farmers just to appease a particular faction within the party. Reliable sources said that it was all due infighting in the party that BJP has disowned those farmers who were supporting the Union Government at this crucial ti...

On the auspicious occasion of Lohri, none of the national conference or the PDP leaders even uttered a single word of felicitation for the people of Jammu. Lohri marks the New Year for farmers. On this day, the farmers pray and show gratitude for their crops before the harvesting begins and pray to Lord Agni to bless their land with abundance. They chant “Aadar aye dilather jaye” i.e. “may honour come and poverty vanish” while moving around the fire. Now, when the people of Jammu are celebrating the festival, the real face of the polit...
