Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 7: With the constituents of the so called Peoples Alliance for Gupkar Declaration complaining of “step-motherly treatment” by the National Conference, which allegedly grabbed lion’s share of seats in the recently held District Development Council elections, two of the senior leaders of the PAGD are likely to hold a meeting soon. Sources said the former Chief Minister and the National Conference President Omar Abdullah looks ahead to hold a closed-door meeting with the separatist turned mainstream leader Sajad Lone. Sources said the NC has decided for the meeting following “widening of fissures” in the PAGD. Sources said the proposed meeting between Sajad and Omar, once seen as arch rivals, would be the first since in the last few months and that Gupkar office of the NC President is supposed to be the venue for the same. It was reliably learnt that the meeting would be held on morning tea with only two of them present.
